Pythagoreanism refers to the philosophical thoughts of ancient philosopher Pythagoras. Pythagoreanism school of philosophy was a school of philosophy which was active in the first half of the 4th century BC. Furthermore, it has also been evidenced that the concept of transmigration of souls provided a basis for Pythagorean thoughts in Philosophy. In addition to that, Pythagorean thoughts of philosophy also put major emphasis on the power of numbers and used to put optimum belief on living a simple, honest and virtuous life. In this way, Pythagorean philosophy actually revolved around the principle of kinship of all beings and later in 4th century, ethical implication of these thoughts got further emphasis.
